A note from the author about a correction: In doing some more work on this project I found an error in the schematic on page 39 of the October 2018 issue. The sensor input should go to Digital Input 2 (D2) rather than D6 as shown. Everything on the schematic labeled "D6" should be "D2". No changes to the software are required. Only pins D2 or D3 of the Arduino can be used for interrupts, which are needed for this project.
