The programming interface consists of a "little black box" that connects to the USB port of your computer and also to the track input of your DCC decoder. This can be a regular programming track or wired directly to the decoder itself if that's more convenient for what you're trying to do. A set of test rollers might come in handy if you're programming motor controls and you need to run your locomotive near your computer.
